The Gathering is a trading name of Christian Outreach Centre (now known as International Network of Churches), a registered nonprofit corporation that operates a movement of churches across Australia. The Gathering is a registered church within INC - one that is governed locally by a Committee of Management. This committee, led by our Lead Pastor, receives regular communications about the direction and finances of the church, and meets quarterly. The purpose of the committee is to provide oversight and strategic leadership to accomplish the mission God has called us to at The Gathering.

The Eldership is responsible for the spiritual care and accountability of The Gathering’s Lead Pastors. The Elders’ purpose is to assist in preserving Lach and Tara’s spiritual health and integrity as they serve The Gathering as lead pastors. This Eldership is made up of people with longstanding relationships with Lach & Tara.
